This course prepares students for entry into the Automotive Maintenance & Light Repair 2. Students explore career opportunities and requirements of a professional service technician. Content emphasizes beginning transportation service skills & workplace success skills. Students study safety, tools, equipment, shop operations, basic engine fundamentals, & basic technician skills.

AUTOMOTIVE MAINTENANCE & LIGHT REPAIR II *

This course prepares students for the course Automotive Maintenance & Light Repair 3. Students study automotive general electrical systems, starting & charging systems, batteries, lighting, and electrical accessories. Content emphasizes basic transportation service skills & workplace success skills.

These courses continues educating students on the various skills required under the Automotive Maintenance & Light Repair program.
